Newsweek: Obama a white man?

"4) A slip of the tongue. Near the end of last night's speech, Obama reeled off a line about the improbable nature of his candidacy. "Listen, when you're a 46-year-old white man named Barack Obama running for leader of the free world, you're always going to be an underdog," he said. The crowd laughed. But no one seemed to notice that Obama, the son of a black Kenyan father and white Kansan mother, called himself a "white man," not a "black man," as he usually does. Don't get me wrong--it was an unconscious slip. But interesting nonetheless."
